Choudhrie's business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit were first exhibited in 1975 when he founded the Magnum International Trading Company Ltd. His primary goal was to promote and expand India's export markets, which laid the foundation for his successful entrepreneurial career.

In 1995, Choudhrie marked another significant milestone by establishing a joint venture with Taj Hotels Resorts. This partnership led to the development of Taj Kerala and a portfolio of four local resorts, underscoring Choudhrie's keen interest in the hospitality sector.

Demonstrating his commitment to academia, Choudhrie holds the honor of being a Radcliffe Fellow of Green Templeton College at Oxford University. He has worked collaboratively with the college to launch their annual Emerging Markets Symposium. Further cementing his ties with the esteemed university, he is a member of Oxford University's Vice-Chancellor's Circle.

Choudhrie's philanthropic endeavors extend across the fields of education and health, reaching communities in the UK, US, and India. Alongside his wife, he founded the Stellar International Art Foundation in 2008. This foundation has amassed over 600 pieces of Indian art and held its inaugural exhibition in London in 2015, showcasing the work of M.F. Husain.

In the professional realm, Choudhrie currently holds two roles: he is the Executive Director at Magnum International Trading Company and the Vice Chairman at Alpha Corp Development Pvt Ltd. His prior experience includes serving as Chairman at Ebookers Plc.
